Your mission is to grab fish, jump between platforms, and stay alive while dark shadow cats copy your previous moves. The more fish you collect, the trickier things get.

You control a little cat, move around the stage, and collect fish to build your score. But there is a catch. Every seven fish you eat bring another shadow cat into the game, and this enemy follows the exact route you took a short time ago. You can run across platforms, make quick jumps, change direction, and use the edges of the screen to travel from one side to the other. Falling through the bottom also brings you back at the top.

Golden fish appear during your run and give you a short window to grab them for a permanent score multiplier boost. When the shadows become overwhelming, keep an eye out for fireflies. Catching one removes a shadow and can give you enough breathing room to keep collecting fish. Normal mode is perfect for chasing a personal best, whether you play alone or share the keyboard with friends. Multiplayer supports up to four players, and each player creates their own shadow cats. Crazy mode challenges you to collect a required number of fish to finish each level, then pick one of three power-up cards before moving on.

Plan your route before collecting the next fish. A safe escape path is often more valuable than a quick point. Avoid running back and forth through the same narrow area because your shadows can turn it into a dead end. Use screen wrapping to escape approaching enemies, especially when the platforms leave you with limited room. Grab golden fish when you have enough space to avoid the extra hazards they trigger.
