The game Cat and Granny has two main modes:

Story mode: Your goal is to provoke enough mischief to make Granny suspicious of the black cat. You'll observe Granny's movements and wait for her to get close before taking action. You can push flowerpots, knock over objects, scratch the sofa, or turn on the TV to create noise and cause trouble.
Sandbox mode: You're free to explore and play around the entire house without any task limitations. You can run around, climb on tables and chairs, explore every room, break things, and simply experience the world as an adventurous cat.
